Joko - design Bartoli by Kristalia

Joko - design Bartoli

Studio Bartoli Design had been working for years on a project for a poetically minimalist chair. The outcome is Joko, an absolute product. The difficulty lay in minimising it as far as possible, without making it too basic or rigid. Its distinguishing feature is the single fused shape, which is soft and organic, of its surfaces that include the front legs, the back and the rear legs. Its continuous surface can be upholstered in a variety of materials: in leather and in fabric in different colours and versions.
BCN - design Harry & Camila by Kristalia

BCN - design Harry & Camila

A new version of the BCN stool, already winner of the Good Design Award by the Chicago Athenaeum, makes its debut in Paris: the seat, soft and sensuous, is always in a special plastic material that is typically used as insulation for electronic components, because of its exceptional resistance to wear, solvents and heat. In the new version presented at NOW! this material is in pleasant contrast to the warmness of the natural beech wood used for the legs, attached to the seat with metal supports painted in the same finish. The stool BCN comes also in a fixed version with frame on a single leg and in two swivelling versions - on a disc-shaped base and on a 5-spoke base - both with a height-adjustable device. In all versions the seat is available in white, black and fluo green, with a matching or chrome-plated frame.
Elephant - design Neuland Industrie by Kristalia

Elephant - design Neuland Industrie

Kristalia presents for the first time in Paris the new Wood version of the Elephant chair, with legs in beech wood attached to the body by metal supports painted in the same color. Generous and light, the Elephant chair marks the beginning of a working partnership between Neuland Industriedesign and Kristalia in 2010. The body is available in hard polyurethane in various colours, with a 4-leg base or slide base with a chrome or satin finish, or lacquered in the same colour of the body. The padded version with cold-foamed polyurethane cushions upholstered in hide is even more refined and comfortable: it shows a handcrafted stitching which recalls the backbone of an elephant, adding a further touch of natural prestige to the concept of this chair.

A collection of fixed tables featuring simple lines. The frame and the 4 legs are made of aluminium bars. The top - available with or without a cable cutout/tab - is in marine plywood covered with a layer of epoxy-coated metal with an embossed texture. This master project is designed for a working environment, as it is equipped with an under-top cable holder. It also perfectly fits into a home setting, since, according to its Designer “in this new world, where home types have changed, there is no longer any distinction between inside and outside or between work and home. Instead, living spaces have been redefined”.

Surfaces usually have two sides; but one day a mathematician discovered that it was possible to make a surface with just one side. The geometric shape called “Möbius band” inspired this table in bent sheet metal with black or white lacquer finish. It can be used with or without a glass top. Algebra and design provide an original combination.
