Modenus loves (and loves and loves) – Elitis from France
We caught up with Mark Abbott of Abbott & Boyd at Decorex during BlogTour 2011 and the one brand in his collection that caught our attention was Elitis, particularly the new Alliances collection pictured above. Designed in collaboration with Rosaria Ratting, “Vases” is made of jersey fabric stretched over molded foam. Elitis say it’s easy to hang, we say it’s easy to fall in love with. If anyone has used this already please let us know, we’d love to feature an installation.
From the Foulards collection come designs of ancient, mystical places and creatures. Exotic and traditional in one.
The Memoirs collection is a vast mix of tribal prints and patterns paired with a large selection of solids in a linen finish to complement the patterns. This pattern, Massai, caught our eye for it’s faint yet lively images.
A leather finish defines the Cuirs collection, with many muted, traditional leather colors. We however had to feature this bold pattern, Casablanca, for its trendy color and design.
Rajasthan, also from the Foulards collection evokes the feeling of old world rugs or tapestries for a wonderful visual texture on a wall.
And finally, Asian inspiration also from the Alliance collection. For more fabulous wallpaper inspiration see our collections on Modenus.
