Product spotlight – A chair in a sweater from Established and Sons

Established and Sons have produced a Chair called ‘Jumper’. that’s because they are British.  Jumper is the British word for Sweater and that’s what the chair is wearing. Simple really.

The creation of Dutch designer Bertjan Pot,  It reminds us of the British version of Dennis the Menace who, for those of you who are raised on the US version, looks like this;

We also love their Quilt chair and ottoman, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec,

and softer than they look, Bricks and Mortar chairs by Richard Woods and Sabastian Wrong.

And this is  Torch Light by Sylvain Willenz, available in two sizes.

We will come back to Established and Sons because they typify a lot of what is admirable in modern design and, of course, because they make us smile. Meanwhile, how about a series about furniture influenced by cartoon characters?
