Sitting comfortably? – Maurizio Galante for Cerruri Baleri

Yes, it’s a sofa. From the ever inventive Cerruri Baleri, Maurizio Galante’s ‘Canape Cactus’ is covered in photographic printed fabric which will not discomfort even the most discerning backside. We spotted this in the recent Word of Interiors magazine’s round up of April’s Milan show.

You’ve got to love Cerruri Baleri. Never hesitant to have a little fun, their marble Louis XV chair must be in the running for the ‘World’s least comfortable looking furniture’ award we have just invented. Another piece designed by Maurizio Galante the stony looking chair is, like the Cactus Sofa, covered in photographic printed fabric. Genius!
