Cool Find : Marbelous Wood by Snedker Studio

During our recent BlogTour LA, we had the pleasure of meeting the ever so talented Kelly Wearstler first at office and later at her boutique shop on Melrose Avenue. We’ve been following this style queen ever since and would like to share one of her artisan finds that she shared on Facebook recently. Snedker Studio.

Snedker Studio Marbelous wood

The Marbelous wood floor is simply stunning. Snedker Studio finishes its flooring with a classic marbling technique. The Danish company describes their flooring, “The pattern reflects the growth ring patterns in the natural wood, and the unique ornamentation of the wood is perceived with renewed visual intensity.”  The planks are made individually with each piece made in a different pattern of colors. Designer Pernille Snedker Hansen used the traditional marbling methods on Scandinavian pinewood flooring to create the look. Super chic, we think.
