These are a few of my favorite things – What’s with me and wild jewelry this year?

The iconic pieces created by Anthony Roussel have been inspired by the sweep of the British Coastline and a passion for modern architecture, and that’s fine with me as long as he keeps getting inspired and cranks out more of these fantastic – in the literal sense – pieces of wearable art. This piece is the “Small Wave Ring”  and is made of fine birch wood layers into one fluid form.

The piece that makes the coastline inspiration most obvious has to be the “Nouveau Bangle”, also made of birch wood layers, in that it mimics waves or sand formations at low tide.

And my interpretation here is ocean floor, it’s easy to image the individual petals of “Branch Bangle” to move in the water. I could of course be totally wrong here but hey, it’s my blog and I interpret as I see fit.

Finally the arch ring only one more in a large collection of environmentally conscious and stunningly beautiful pieces. I know my wishlist is getting a bit lengthy this year, but please, someone, anyone, can we add this?
