Scrapwood Wallpaper from Holland at ICFF

Our congratulations to Piet Hein Eek and his Scrapwood Wallpaper for winning a category award at the recent ICFF in New York. The Dutch company makes wallpaper which looks like scrap wood – it is that simple. The paper is available just about everywhere and full details are available on Peter’s site. Some of the awards at ICFF seemed to acknowledge long standing and established companies, this time it went to one of the products at the show which were new and fun and stopped us in our tracks. Ok well maybe it’s the Dutch licorice they were passing out that made us stop, but it’s still cool and it beats the hell out of having to panel your walls, right?

    I heard that these materials are being done in Holland, but never got a chance to see an image. Its really looks cool. I guess it would be better if the decoration was done in a same designed wallpaper.
