In support of Il Bel Paese: Modenus and Italian Bark launch Italian Makers Collection

We are proud to announce The Italian Makers Collection to support Italian manufacturers and artisans through a collaboration with architect, designer and blogger Elisabetta Rizzato of Italian Bark and as part of our outreach for NKBA Global Connect – A program designed to connect kitchen & bath marketplaces around the world and to support brands in their efforts to expand globally.

Italy, the very country built on the pillars of a life well lived: Food and wine; music, literature and visual arts; fashion and design paired with an unparalleled zeal for life is home to Salone Del Mobile in Milan, the world’s largest furniture trade show and design fair and this year’s unprecedented cancellation of the entire event sent shock waves through design communities in Italy and around the world and became a harbinger of things to come for many other trade shows, markets and events.

Fortunately, Italy is now showing encouraging signs of improvement and we are proud to be able to make a small contribution by offering access to the Modenus catalog with launch of the Italian Maker collection, curated by Elisabetta*.

*Note:The service is completely free to Italian artisans, makers and manufacturers at least through the end of 2020.

This is an amazing opportunity for Italian companies, even for the smallest, to become known in a huge market as the US is.  The Italian Makers collection will be a page dedicated to Italian brands to feature products, their websites and social media details. We are interested in all kinds of products for home interiors including, furniture, lighting, surface materials, for the kitchen, bathroom and other areas of the home, from brands of any size. The page will also then shared on italianbark shop, with a new section dedicated to Italian makers. The most interesting stories will be then shared on the blog as well . Again I realize how wonderful is working on the web, how many connections we can create and how we can support each other, and everything without moving from our own homes”
