Interior designers, architects and manufacturers from around the world are invited to submit their best Commercial and Residential projects and products for this year’s SBID awards. And amongst the judges of the Contract Interior Design category, chaired by Professor Jimmy Choo OBE, a man who needs no introduction to anyone who understands the beauty of a perfect shoe, is our very own Veronika Miller, Founder and Chief Eternal Optimist or CEO of Modenus and Modenus’ BlogTour.
The first part of the Awards is aimed at Contract Interior Design. This sector measures six key categories of design excellence and will be judged by international industry leaders.
Other judges include designer Peter Bierwirth, President of the European Hotel Management Association (EHMA), Inge Moore, Principal of HBA London and Overall Winner of the SBID 2011 Awards, Theresa Dowling, Editorial Director for World Market Intelligence (WMI) design titles (FX, Blueprint, idFX, FMX, X2), and David Lewis, Managing Director of Sunseeker London. The awards ceremony will take place in Rimini, Italy, at SIA Guest hospitality show this November.
The Residential Interior Design awards are also chaired by Jimmy Choo with Judges including Pasquale Natuzzi, founder of the luxurious Natuzzi furniture brand, Nerio Alessandri, founder of Olympic Games supplier Technogym, Simon Joy, UK Managing Director of Poltrona Frau Group, Carolina Calzada, the Marketing Manager of Global Color Research, and Patrick Taylor, Managing Director of Taylist Media.
