4 products for 4 rooms by Andrew Dunning of APD Interiors

This week, Andrew Dunning is focusing on 4 sponsors of the forthcoming BlogTourNYC event that he will be attending in New York next month.

Poggenpohl is well-known for manufacturing some of the most desirable kitchens in the world. The P’7340 range are the first kitchen cabinets to use carbon fibre for the doors. Combined aluminium, glass and carbon fibre with Porsche Design this style shouts wow factor! If you want the ultimate kitchen Poggenpohl is the place to go.

Rotsen Furniture produces the most wonderful pieces of furniture that are designed to showcase the beautiful natural qualities of wood. Their range of wooden slab tables are a great way to add an organic element to your interior. The company uses reclaimed materials to produce some of its furniture and also pledges to plant new trees for each item sold. If you appreciate the true beauty of wood Rotsen is a great company to choose for your furniture.

Victoria + Albert recently launched the Edge range of bathroom fittings. The style is designed with an appreciation of cube shapes, but the corners have been gently curved to bring some softness into the bathroom. The standalone double ended bath could comfortably take two people but it is only 150cm long. It’s the perfect choice for a small bathrooms that you want to share. Crafted in a composite material containing volcanic limestone the Edge range adds sculpture to your bathroom.

Every home needs good wall art as a finishing touch but it is often so hard to find. This is especially true if you are a lover of sports and want to include sports images in your interior. Spirit of Sports can help you overcome this problem and has a great range of sports art and collectables. Whatever your sport, be it sailing, horse racing, football, lacrosse … they will have something for you. This is the way to add sports art to your home without having a photo of a sports team on the wall!

After years working in the corporate world, Andrew Dunning left the City to follow his true passion of Design, so he retrained in interior design and launched APD Interiors in 2004. The brand was launched with one aim: to allow people to have their dream home for an affordable price as Andrew firmly believes that good design doesn’t have to be expensive.

Since then the business has gone from strength to strength, Andrew has been featured in the Evening Standard, he writes a regular column for the London CityAM newsletter, and he contributes to the Rightmove.com blog. In addition APD Interiors also has its own blog providing regular interior design tips and ideas and Andrew provide daily twitter tips to his 8,000 followers.

Keeping an eye on comfort and practicality, while combining contemporary and traditional forms in projects, has seen APD Interiors win numerous commissions and praise from their clients. APD Interiors provides a design and build service to all its clients, aiming to take away all the headaches as they guide them from the design through planning to delivery. Current projects include a full house refurbishment in Islington, a glass box extension to a Grade II listed house in Central London and a budget bathroom in Crouch End. Each project offers different challenges but the objective remains to deliver cost effective design and build to all APD Interiors clients.
