These designs are by Laura Birns, of LauraBirnsDesign Eco-Furnishings. Named “One of the top ten green gurus” by Innovative Home Magazine, Laura describes her furniture as pieces of art, showcasing imagination, quality and function. Our pictures show a molded side table of bamboo veneer and an upholstered bench made of Keri and steel, upholstered in a certified green guard fabric.

FSC certified solid woods are used in construction and the veneers are FSC certified or are from certified tree farms. All glues, adhesives and finishes are water based, low/no-voc. Various tops are offered for the case goods, including FSC wood, engineered stone, metal with post consumer waste content, recycled glass in an aggregate, and low fly ash concrete. All veneer pieces have formaldehyde free cores.
