Designhounds Napa: A “True to Food” Experience with Signature Kitchen Suite

It was a privilege to announce the first Designhounds tour to Napa with Signature Kitchen Suite this May. The brand and its amazing team outdid themselves in providing an experience for all of the senses, which means we were wined, dined and designed for 3 days in one of the most beautiful places in the world. All of this attention is to celebrate the mission of the brand’s mantra of being “True To Food” and the launch of the Signature Kitchen Suite Experience & Design Center in Napa, which was a show stopper in every regard.

The 23,000 square foot facility features top of the line products from the parent company, LG. A fantastic lineup of products ranges from LG Signature and LG Studio to the flagship Signature Kitchen Suite is the focus of the facility which also boasts multiple training classrooms, gorgeous dining spaces and a stunning demo kitchen so that visitors can enjoy a hands-on experience of cooking on Signature Kitchen Suite. We’ll tell you right now, it’s kind of like getting behind the wheel of a sports car, or a smart car, or a luxury car….actually, combine the three and you get the idea.

Signature Kitchen Suite shared and emphasized the new company’s focus on developing products that are “True to Food” with the mission to demonstrate respect for food and the process of food growing, harvesting and preparing at every level. To achieve the mission to be True to Food, Signature Kitchen Suite proudly displayed their  showstopping product on our private tour, the 48″ Dual-Fuel Pro Range with Sous Vide and Induction. Yes, that’s right, built-in sous-vide, induction, steam and gas in one range. Incredible right? Of course the range is equipped with timers on each knob and WiFi enabled with SmartThinQ™ app for iPhone/Android. We were treated to an incredible lunch cooked by a few of our talented Designhounds volunteers and Chef AJ Schuller of CREA , Culinary Research and Education Academy. The result? A perfect salad with sous-vide poached egg, sous-vide lamb chop seared in ginger and honey and quite possibly the best crème brulée we’ve ever had, all created with the new Pro range.

It wouldn’t be a visit to Napa Valley without, well, the wine.  Signature Kitchen Suite did not disappoint in pairing their incredibly prepared meals with the finest wines of Napa Valley including a private tasting of Moon Tsai wine with the owner himself, Larry Tsai. So with a center in the heart of Wine Country, Signature Kitchen Suite made sure to be well-equipped with their built-in wine column refrigerators. The beautiful columns feature  ”Wine Cave Technology™ to provide protection from wine’s four biggest threats of vibration, light, and variations in temperature and humidity” as described by the brand to preserve and respect the wine.

Signature Kitchen Suite rolled out the red carpet for our guests offering a “True to Food” culinary and wine experience that is simply unforgettable.
