Jenn-Air – making a splash at The Architectural Digest Home Design Show
Design lovers attending the Architectural Digest Home Design Show this March 21-24 at Manhattan’s Pier 94 shouldn’t miss Jenn Air who are sponsoring seminars, showcasing new products, sponsoring a video and are even involved in a Sweepstake to win a complete suite of appliances and a design consultation valued at $27,500.
Jenn-Air introduced the first self-ventilated cook-top back in 1961 and the first downdraft ventilated range in 1965. Since then, Jenn-Air has grown its reputation as a technology and design innovator. Jenn-Air brand now offers a complete line of major kitchen appliances.includes downdraft cook-tops, wall ovens and professional style ranges, dishwashers, refrigerators and entertaining essentials as warming drawers, built-in ice machines and wine cellars.
So what can show attendees hope to see? Juliet Johnson, manager of brand experience for Jenn-Air says “We’re excited to debut several new products this year, including an extraordinary cooking ventilation system, new cooking appliances and a built-in coffee maker.” Visitors will be able to see the new products on the Jenn Air stand in the “reFRESH” section of the show (booth # 351) and Jenn-Air will be showcased on the Jenn-Air Master Class Culinary stage which is designed to resemble an actual high-end kitchen. There are many highlights, but we are looking forward to “Taste & Technology,” a panel discussion with Jenn-Air general manager Steve Brown; author of some of this country’s most glamorous spaces, Jamie Drake; and designer and architect, Bruce Bierman on Thursday, March 21 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. A full schedule of the New York Times Seminar series can be found here.
If you can’t make the show, or even if you can but want a reminder, Jenn-Air are sponsoring a “Best of Show” video series being produced by Architectural Digest and will be posted on facebook.com/jennair.
So Jenn-Air have every intention of getting noticed during this year’s Architectural Digest Home Design Show. They are a good company with a proud tradition of innovation and a great product line. We can only wish them every success.
