Drummonds from the UK have long been known for their fabulous vintage tubs in everything from copper to pewter to seriously massive cast iron but now it’s time to stop the presses and have a look at their newest collection. Designed for them by London based design talent Christopher Jenner. Have a look and tell me these aren’t head turners!
Jenner captures the essence of Drummonds’ classic aesthetic and luxurious natural materials, translating
them into a collection which pushes the boundaries of both design and materials. Taking cues from
Drummonds’ artisanal heritage, he marries cast iron, polished steel and traditional enamelling techniques
with English carpentry in oak, walnut and driftwood and custom colourways. Shown here is the Newton single vanity – drift oak with white enamel top.
The pembridge, our favorite in the collection, blends natural english oak with a polished iron vanity top and base. The mid-century inspired rounded edges are just amazing, aren’t they?
And finally, The Chapel, linen cupboard in American Walnut paired with polished iron.
The full collection will be launched at Clerkenwell Design Week this week which runs concurrently with ICFF in New York City. Stay tuned for more from both.
