President and Founder Barry Stup began dismantling barns in rural Maryland in the 1970's with the intent to use the materials in new construction and renovations. In 1980, he established The Woods Company, Inc. to meet the growing demand for antique wood flooring.
Today, the company is an industry leader and one of the largest full-service reclaimed lumber manufacturers in the country. Our production facility in south-central Pennsylvania features more than 90,000 square feet of manufacturing space, along with a beautiful showroom.
