Andrea Summerton's interest in design derives from how environments and objects allow for interactions that influence the way we live. Nature and geometric lines inspire her aesthetic thoughts.
Andrea is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, studied design abroad in Milan, Italy, worked for world-renown designer Vladimir Kagan, produced exclusive designs for mail order catalogs and established a design studio, ALS DESIGNS. With ALS DESIGNS, Andrea brings forth a goal to make well crafted, timeless and unique home furnishings built and designed exclusively in the United States made from "healthy" Eco-friendly materials.
