After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, Elizabeth Mercer Aurandt, DSA moved to New York to begin her design career in the jewelry and fashion industry. In 1999 she was given the opportunity to redesign the production space of LJL. She really developed her talent for designing spaces during this process, improving it greatly in efficiency and aesthetic. She then made a career change to interior and product design and mercer INDUSTRY, LLC was born. Its’ first division was mercer INTERIOR. She has designed a range of small to large spaces, from offices to private homes. Elizabeth is a member of the Designer Society of America.
