The Joinery designs and hand crafts sustainably-harvested hardwood furniture in Portland, Oregon. Using locally harvested and FSC certified lumber, The Joinery’s goal since 1982 has been to build quality hardwood furniture with time-honored techniques that will be treasured and passed along for generations.

We welcome requests for custom work whether it is modifying an existing piece or creating something brand new. Our capabilities include wood, glass, metal, and upholstery—our range of styles is diverse.
