Bark Frameworks

Known as framers for artists, collectors and museums in the New York art world, Bark Frameworks has, as well, a reputation for mirror frames. In the early 90’s we cast and silvered our own mirrors, some of which we still stock. Since that time Jared Bark has pursued a study of the frame designs of Edgar Degas, whose notebook sketches he examined first hand. Most of these remarkable frame conceptions have never been realized until we began making careful renditions of them. They can best be used in framing mirrors, where the frame can stand on its own as an extraordinary work of art.
