Artioli Findlay carries on the legacy of the David Findlay Galleries, which has been associated with fine paintings since it was founded in Kansas City, Missouri in 1870 by William Wadsworth Findlay as the Findlay Art Company.

Artioli Findlay specializes in works by contemporary American and French color oriented (figurative) representational artists who have been influenced by the Impressionists, Expressionists, and the Fauves.
