TALL SHTENDER (42" H x 24" W x 16" D) - "Shtender" is a Yiddish term for a book stand Jewish scholars use for studying, praying, or lecturing. This solid cherry lectern features a storage cabinet and a shelf for frequently referenced books. The top folds down flat, or adjusts to two different angles. This piece features details found in antique heirlooms such as mortise and tenon construction, top quality brass hardware, and a hand-carved pull. Signature and date hand-carved by the artist.More
