Handmade by Edward San Giovanni in Ridgefield, CT c. 1940-1950. This piece is a sleek, modernist interpretation of the oh-so-traditional salt cellar. Standing on three separately cast and applied legs, the body of the salt is a simple bowl with a minimalist incised edge.

The San Giovanni salt is in excellent condition and is approximately 3 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter and 1 inch (2.5 cm) tall.More
