Before and after – A new vibe for Eclat Vibe by Alena Capra

This is why commercial spaces need interior designers! The space was transformed from an existing clothing store complete with black ceiling, black floors and a clutter, if that can be a collective noun, of merchandise. ‘Eclat Vibe’ is now a swimwear and ladies boutique in South Florida. The clients wanted the store to feel like a bright, spacious and enchanting white space, and let the vibrant colors of the clothes take center stage.

Alena Capra accented it with textured materials in cobalt blue and silver. The shag rug, velour dressing room curtains and ottomans all brought in the rich cobalt accents. The back wall is a textured murano glass silver wallpaper from Innovations, there are inlays of silver mosaic in the floor, and the counter-top is a recycled glass Silestone counter-top with silver flecks in it(part of their eco-friendly collection). The counter is upholstered in white vinyl squares. The existing light fixtures were swapped out for over sized drum fixtures adorned with crystals. Alena says she wanted the space to feel clean, yet be rich in textured and colored accents.  We simply want to go shopping.  And that means it works! Another ‘after’ follows.
