Oh CULINA, you had me at semi-professional

For those of us who fancy ourselves the ‘chef de cuisine’ of our own homes – having the right equipment is paramount.  You won’t see me using just any old knife in my kitchen; it has to at least be carbon-steel and possibly either German or French (Nesmuk anyone? Christmas gift??)

Extravagance aside – the saying that it’s a poor craftsmen who blames his tools is really not accurate.  When things are literally cooking in the kitchen – time and precision are important – critical even.  No one wants to think about their appliances: they should work, and work well.  And since kitchen design has been raised to the level of a showhouse – the appliances need to look great also (guests will be hanging about.)

So it’s no surprise that people are gravitating towards BLANCO’s new CULINA.  Oh yes – it’s a faucet – but oh no – it’s really not ‘just’ a faucet.  CULINA is the stunning semi-professional faucet recently introduced by BLANCO. BLANCO’s award-winning design team stripped the pro faucet down to its essence, leaving a beautifully simple solution to the iconic chef style that eliminates the unruly pull-down hose. A gracefully flexible steel spring spout provides maximum free range. When finished, CULINA’s powerful dual spray and coil effortlessly snap back to their original position just by holding the spout near the magnetic feature. The streamlined closed coil is also much easier to clean.  Ta-da!

You can see and touch CULINA (because I know you will want to try out the magnet), along with some other BLANCO product introductions:  SILGRANIT® II Truffle sinks  and faucets (the color is really lovely), and PERFORMA Low Divide Sink at the upcoming Dwell on Design Show (Booth 537) in Los Angeles, June 24-26.

All I can say is…keep ‘em coming BLANCO – I’m hungry for more!

Determine the amount of space you have. A kitchen must be designed
with the maximum amount of space for cabinets.  Due to the use of the
kitchen on a regular basis and the need for utilities, this is extremely
important. When deciding on how to remodel your kitchen, the shape and
dimensions of the room needs to be measured. Place pots and pans in
cabinets located near or above the stove, and dishes closer to your
table. Using your cabinets effectively is one of the easiest ways to
create more space, and is often the cheapest.
