We are off to Imm 2013 in Cologne with Modenus BlogTour. You can follow our bloggers here, and on the #BlogTourCGN Twitter hash tag. And, in the meantime, we are highlighting the pick of the exhibitors.
An interesting carpet can make a room. There is a place, of course, for a monotone fitted surface, walked on but largely ignored. And maybe that plain, notice we didn’t say ‘dull’, floor covering is just what you need to set off your furniture, or wall art. Or, like Vartian Carpets, you can choose to take a different route.
Vartin Carpets are hand made in their own workshops in Nepal. They are made with traditional Nepalese techniques but the designs are something else. Series titles including ‘Remixed Orientals’, ‘Life on Earth’, ‘Urban Culture’ and ‘Painter Paradise’ reflect the unapologetically contemporary approach to design. We love these rugs as bold, bright statements. These are carpets to be noticed.
