Modenus is San Francisco Bound with Zephyr Ventilation

We are thrilled to announce that we will be joining previous BlogTour California sponsor Zephyr Ventilation for the San Francisco Blogger Retreat this week! The itinerary in itself is chock full of design, wine, great vent hoods, wine, events and did we mention wine? Take a look at the itinerary and get to know the Zephyr Ventilation brand below.

Who is Zephyr? Before we jump into the incredible itinerary for the Blogger Retreat this week we wanted to briefly describe the brand that is Zephyr Ventilation. Meeting with the folks at Zephyr during BlogTour California was nothing short of a treat. It is rare to come across a brand that is so personal and grounded with team members showing their unwavering commitment to the technology and beauty of their products. A bit of history…Zephyr Ventilation was founded in 1997 by Alex Siow to create a vision of  ”delivering the unexpected—by deliberately seeking to change the marketplace.” Zephyr Ventilation was the first to realize a demand for powerful, professional-grade hoods in the home that at the same time reflect personal style. Zephyr has been keeping the kitchen industry on their toes with stunning and innovative designs through collaborations with many talented designers including Fu-Tung Cheng. Learn more about the history and philosophy behind the Zephyr Ventilation brand here.

Zephyr is located just outside San Francisco, in Alameda CA so it comes as not a surprise that the focus of the tour is California wine country. True to the Zephyr brand, the team has developed an amazing itinerary in San Francisco and Napa Valley, California.

Day 1: We are welcomed to the stylish Clift Hotel in Union Square, San Francisco.Zephyr Ventilation plans to kick things off with a welcome dinner at at Boulettes Larder in San Francisco.

Zephyr Ventilation SF ShowroomDay 2: The fun really gets started with a tour through the San Francisco Design District with visits to the Zephyr Ventilation showroom, lunch and tour at the Daltile showroom, a visit at the Coup d’Etat showroom with a return to Zephyr for a presentation by design-partner Fu-Tung Cheng. We’ll wrap up a stellar day of design with cuisine inspired by the turn of the 20th century at the Wayfare Tavern-Billiards Room.

Napa Valley Day 3: As if the Day 2 itinerary wasn’t already enough of a lineup of highlights, Zephyr continues the retreat with a wine tour and tasting in Napa Valley with visits to Joseph Phelps, Ma(i)sonry and Stags’ Leap Wine Cellars. Yes, we know, it’s a tough job but we’re ready for the challenge. We’re then headed to the Traditional Home Napa Showhouse before enjoying our final evening in Redwood Room at the Clift Hotel. We may never wish to go home again.

We are incredibly excited and honored to be part of such a fantastic tour with a truly unique brand dedicated to performance and personal expression. A huge thank you to Zephyr Ventilation for the opportunity.
