Last week, Modenus’ Facebook page became a war zone as contestants duked out the first official BlogTour photo contest. The idea behind the contest is for participants to really engage with products they see and have pictures taken of themselves with their favorite (or most notable product). Submitting several entries helped, as did the choice of subject matter or a creative pose.
We are thrilled to announce the winner of the contest, Michelle Wiebe of Studio M who has battled hard and used the world ‘Walrus’ more often than can be considered healthy in order to win an iPad 2. Congrats Michelle!
A very close second place goes to architect and master blogger Bob Borson who fell in love with this wall panel by Armourcoat. Bob wins $750 in custom wallpaper from Wallunica and we’re told that Bob has a very special plan for his prize. We will keep you updated as that story develops. Wallunica is a custom, digital wallpaper company from Germany that is now launching in the UK and the US. Selections can be made from a vast stock image library or you can send your design or photograph to Wallunica for a custom quote and have virtually any design reproduced in the required dimensions.
And finally, our third place winner, interior designer and BlogTour’s most stylish blogger, Jonathan Legate. Notice the sculptural quality in this photo, the strong lines and perfect proportions? And yes, the light fixture by AF Designs isn’t bad either. Jonathan wins a coveted copy of Mix Publications “MIX Trends 2012/2013″, convenient really, because he had told us he loved the MIX color trends seminar we attended at 100% Design.
Below a few runners up that we think deserved special mention for originality, beauty or fun. Enjoy and stay tuned for more information about BlogTour NYC in March of 2012.
