Dear Mediterra Tile, where, oh where have you been all my life? Tucked away in a tiny booth at Coverings that was shared with our friends at Architerra, apparently. I feel like I’ve made a major discovery but get a feeling that, if I did, it won’t be a secret much longer.
Bold, chunky, imperfect (and beautiful because of it) patterns and textures abound in the designs from this Arizona based artisan company that takes much of its design inspiration from Mediterranean culture as it plays into Moorish, North African and Middle Eastern designs.
I love how there is a mix of the monochromatic which emphasizes textural pattern only and a lust for color, both bold and warm for an edgy, interesting mix of styles that could be at home in a SoHo loft or in a Colorado cabin.
Notice how I didn’t mention collection or product names? Yep, I forgot. Too mesmerized by the collection I guess and now you’ll have to head over to Mediterra to find your own favorites or research the ones I’ve shared. Let me know which you love the most.
