Before and after – A new kitchen with a touch of green by Spaces Designed!
This ‘before and after’ kitchen transformation by Spaces Designed! features more than a touch of green. Not as a color, you understand, but as an integral part of the design from choice of materials, and lighting to construction methods. Coming from such accomplished designers it is no surprise that the new kitchen is efficiently laid out with every inch of space utilized for storage of appliances and supplies. The cabinets along the back wall are locally made by Flat Creek and painted a clean white with low-VOC paint by Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams and those are Energy Star appliances by Kitchen-Aid.
LED lights feature throughout. We like the LED pendent lights by Fredrick Ramond, the Can lights are also LED lights and there are LED strips under the cabinets. And that spectacular surface is a Silestone manufactured quartz stone.
Spaces Designed have created a fresh, bright and eminently usable kitchen with an underpinning of environmentally aware choices. We are grateful to them for sending in their story and, if we may, would like to encourage you to do the same! Send your ‘before and after’ images and words to beforeandafter@modenus.com. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
