This was intended to be a “Things Modenus Loves” post to feature the Icarus chair by Patrick Naggar via Ralph Pucci, but once I was completely immersed in the fabulous collection on the fabulous Ralph Pucci website I knew I couldn’t stop at one item. So, above you have the iconic Icarus chair as seen in Elle Decor, who’s most recent issue is must read by the way, and below please enjoy more from one of Modenus’ favorite designers.
Patrick Naggar is a french artist, architect and designer who had joined Pucci in 1995 and who continues to surprise and engage the design world with creations that I can best describe as approachable Avant Guarde. Above is the Neo Chester sofa.
Ralph Pucci’s original focus were mannequins, a collection of which he curates through his gallery to this day and he later found that mannequins could easily integrate with the sculptural quality of exclusive furniture and art pieces. He began to gather some of the world’s finest designers and artists and launched a collection that has to be one of the most exquisite in the world and includes names like Chris Lehrecke, Patrick Naggar, Paul Mathieu, Jerome Abel Seguin, Christophe Delcourt and the French design team Nathalie du Luart and Delphine Vendel.
Thank you to Ralph Pucci for continuing to inspire.
