From top-left, clockwise, Grace II, Alta Compact, Hiland and Napa.
Grace II is a ‘Pull-Out and Pull-Down’ faucet with a dual spray feature all wrapped up in a traditional design. Its a great solution for someone who wants modern features in a traditional look. Alta Compact is an extendable pull-out design, again with a dual spray. This time the design is distinctly contemporary, and it is a good choice for small sinks and work areas. Hiland is a transitional design which would work with just about any decor. The functionality is all there with ‘pull out’ and dual spray. And finally, the Napa available in ‘pull-out’ and ‘pull-down’ designs with dual spray has a generous 10”-11” high clearance which makes work around the sink easier. Tim Maicher, Director of Marketing for BLANCO, describes faucets as “the jewelry of the kitchen”. He says that while they must be attractive, they are also the most abused fixtures in the kitchen. BLANCO have managed to make their collection of jewelry very capable of kitchen abuse.
Modenus’ very own founder and Editor in Chief Veronika Miller says about the Modex sink: “This is an absolute show stopper and proof that BLANCO doesn’t shy away from taking a risk when it comes to pushing the design envelope. I love this design and there’s a fair chance it will end up in my own kitchen”.
The Modex sits 3″ above the counter and features a dual draining system and a large integrated cutting board. It is made from BLANCO’s SILGRANIT II and is resistant to heat, chips, scratches, food acids and, thanks to the impervious Hygienic+Plus finish, bacteria. Modex is available in cinder, anthracite and white.
