Getting ready for BlogTour London…………

….just making sure that all you design and lifestyle bloggers who thought they have all it takes have already let us know that they exist. If you haven’t done it yet….WHY NOT????

 

We’ll be bringing 15 design and lifestyle bloggers to London from September 19 – 24 for London Design Festival and here’s what you should have to be considered:

  • A great blog with original content and regular, at least weekly posts
  • A strong social media presence and by that we mean folks who actually engage and not just self promote – it’s about building relationships, right?
  • A sparkling, witty, exuberant personality
  • A desire to be part of a growing community, see a great city, get more traffic to your blog and maybe even make some great business connections with the many manufacturers, designers and artisans you’ll meet

What will you be doing?

  • Lots of blogging
  • Lots of tweeting, facebooking and pinning
  • Lots of walking
  • Lots of photographing and filming
  • Lots of wining (notice how there’s no H in that) and dining
  • More blogging, tweeting, facebooking and pinning

    Oh where to start. I think I would be a great choice because I LOVEEE design. I love people. I love to learn and I’m quite pleasant to be around. Oh and that blogging thing is pretty cool, too. hee, hee 

    I would just really benefit, savor and eat up this opportunity if picked. My dream of a new career would be that much more attainable with an adventure like this under my belt. I love the new magazine! It’s fabulous!!

    As an architect and blogger, I’d love to participate in BlogTour London with Modenus.
    I often share travel photography, design inspiration and highlight industry news, and being a part of London Design Festival would make for great content! 
    I actively engage with readers on various social networks, including Google+, Facebook and, of course, my blog, which was featured in Design Bureau’s July/August 2012 issue.

    Let’s give this one more shot shall we. I am an interior designer, the founder of B.R. Judge Design, and I have two blogs. My primary is Bastion & Lark, a blog about design culture and life in general and I also have Connoisseur, my online inspiration board that I can share with everyone. I have been around design my entire life as my mother was an interior designer.  I also have all the prerequisite accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, here, etc., etc.

    A native New Englander, my style is firmly rooted in classic traditional styles (with Englich County being my personal favourite), in general terms this means anything that a WASP or preppy would like. I love social interactions for the chance to meet new people and to learn new things. Being a part of Blogtour and the wonderful group of people associated with it would be a wonderful opportunity for both.

    Wait. That would have been yesterday. So if we didn’t hear anything, we are not it, or did you possibly not notify yet? I am still holding out hope, you see.
